[Essay] Global Warming

One of Korean's pride is four seasons. Actually, almost all of Korean people thought it is natural and not pride but nowadays they missed the time. The Korean winter is not winter anymore. We can not expect a romance in snow. There are very short spring and falls. In about 10 years, we can not say Korea has four seasons. We might lose two seasons because of us. What are we doing wrong and does it make any how consequences? Also how can we correct it?
Our two seasons have disappeared by global warming. What is global warming? According the words, it means the world is getting warm and warm globally. CO, CO₂and Freon gas go up to the sky. They are too heavy to go up continuously, so when they reach a definite height they stay and cover the Earth. They destroy the ozone layer and prevent sun light coming such as hothouse. By them, the earth becomes a hothouse and we call it greenhouse. Also the greenhouse makes global warming.
The green house makes the Earth get warmer. Therefore, there are many changes and serious consequences. In Korea, the temperature of summer is increasing, and from the Temperate zone. In the world, the glacier is melting so the sea level is going up. Seriously, some islands will be sunk in 10 years. Some students say they are glad that Japan will sink some day. However, then, we will lost Jeju Island and some part of Korea, too. This is not funny or a happy happening. In addition the temperature goes up, the sea's temperature is changed. Sharks appear in front of the East Sea and beach in Korea. Also a cold current and a warm current are changed their flowing so many countries are troubled with drought, tsunami happens. The earth is saying through lots of consequences.
We really need the solutions to solve global warming. We don't use the products that exhaust Freon gas, CO and CO₂. The car is representation of what exhaust CO₂. We can not live with out it. Therefore, we should walk close distance to go to work together such as car pool, scientist develop the sustainable car and put it to practical case. Futhermore we had better not burn the trash, forest, and fossil fuel to development and find other ways. Also we plant and make forest. Because they will purify CO, CO₂and so on. And like a sustainable car, we have to development new energy instead of coal oil. Actually there are many ways, but the most important is our minds. If we do not care or think it is not serious, the situation will be worse. The destroyers are us, so the responsibility is ours.
Since the industrial revolution, succeeded, people have developed for men. They didn't think about the Earth. Human avarice makes the earth like this. From now, we must do continuable development. It means the development with nature. We are a part of nature. We have no claim to destroy it. Actually, men without nature will be ruined however the nature without men will live better than now. We can not with out them. Remember that the nature is not the present from God. It's the partner we mus live together with.

Summary Lately, People try to build green buildings. The green buildings use the sunshine with big windows, have rooftops gardens, save every last drop, and they are made by green materials.
Comment These day I feel global warming is near to me. For example, The Korea is changing from the temperate zone to the subtropical zone. There fore I consider what is good for the environment. And I wish the moving to build green buildings to continue and spread the whole world.
